Das Junge Haus für Poesie bei Deutschlandfunk Kultur
Annika Säuberlich reports for Deutschlandfunk Kultur on Junges Haus für Poesie (Young House for Poetry), which reopened in spring of this year under its new name after many years of work under the title “Poetische Bildung” (“Poetry in Education”).
Among those featured are Katharina Schultens, Director of Haus für Poesie, who discusses how poetry is taught in schools and how Haus für Poesie’s approach to poetry differs; Karla Montasser, who heads Junges Haus für Poesie, speaks about the broad target audience of the program and how it is engaged; and Valeriia, a 20-year-old who has already collaborated with Junges Haus für Poesie, reads one of her poems.
