Collaborative chain poem
in tribute to Rilke

For this year’s Poetry Festival, we honor Rainer Maria Rilke, who passed away one hundred years ago far too young, and place our collective writing under the motto:

‘This is the first forefeeling of the eternal: to have time for love.’

From June 1 to 15, poets and festival visitors will jointly write a collaborative chain poem exploring the many facets of love in poetry — from every direction, in every language.
