It is the Haus für Poesie that often commissions the first German translations of poems from other languages, especially for Poesiefestival Berlin. Also, the Berlin Poetry Lecture is published annually by Wallstein Verlag as part of Poesiefestival Berlin.
On this page, we highlight new publications that have grown out of our translations and found a publisher, bringing them into the world as German-language books.
Yevgeniy Breyger
A narrative long poem whose wild journey began at the Berlin Poetry Festival in 2025 as a contribution to Weltklang – Night of Poetry, and has now culminated in Breyger's first poetry collection published by Suhrkamp Verlag: hallo niemand, 2026.
