Preußische Seehandlung Foundation awards the 2026 Rahel Varnhagen von Ense Medal
The Weiter Schreiben program, which supports writers from war and crisis regions, has been awarded the 2026 Rahel Varnhagen von Ense Medal by the Preußische Seehandlung Foundation. The award, endowed with €10,000, honours individuals, groups, and institutions that have made an outstanding contribution to literary life in Berlin.
