Ali Abdollahi
Ali Abdollahi, born in Birjand, Iran, is a poet, translator and literary critic living in Berlin. He has published seven volumes of his own poetry in Iran, as well as numerous translations and anthologies of German-language poetry and prose. Five volumes of poetry translated by him have been published in Germany to date, as well as his own bilingual volume of poetry “Wetterumschlag“ (Secession Verlag Berlin 2021). Ali Abdollahi has been honoured with the Adalbert von Chamisso Publication Prize 2021 and the Horst Bingel Literature Prize 2022, among others.
