Elza Javakhishvili
Elza Javakhishvili, a native Georgian, was born in Tbilisi in 1981 and grew up in the small village of Anaga. Her debut poetry collection “საგზალი “ was nominated for the SABA Literature Prize of Georgia in 2023. In 2024, her lyrical texts were published in German in the literary magazine EDIT - N°91. In 2025, she performed at the reading “Teil der Bewegung. Poetry Night with Music“ at the Leipzig Book Fair. She currently lives and works as a freelance artist, visual poet and lyricist in Berlin.
