jee chan (1994, Singapura) is an artist working in the fields of dance and expanded choreography. They are concerned with questions surrounding the displaced body and what it can perform. Their practice translates the unspeakable, the unknowable and the forgotten, addressing themes of grief, loss, memory, violence and colonial terror, particularly among the contexts of island Southeast Asia.
