HAUS FÜR POESIE

Annelie David, born in 1959 in Cologne, Germany, lives in Amsterdam. She is a poet and a translator as well as a dancer and choreographer. She writes in Dutch and translates German-language poetry. In reviews of her poetry, we encounter words such as magical, mythical, natural philosophical, and even shamanistic. Her most recent publications are “Schokbos” (Grote Poëzieprijs nomination 2021) and “Onvolledig alfabet” (Poëziecentrum Gent 2025). This year, she received a grant from the Letterenfonds Nederland for her next poetry collection.
