Armeghan Taheri

Armeghan Taheri, born in 1989 in Herat, Afghanistan, lives and works in Berlin and Athens. Her writing explores political grief and intimacy, moving between experimental approaches and the disruption of language and traditional narrative forms. Recent works include “Blue is the Hottest Part of the Flame” (performance, Akademie der Künste, Berlin, as part of Voicing the Struggle, within Every Artist Must Take Sides, 2026) and “Notes of a Confused Imitator” (Tofan, Edition Assemblage, edited by aDj, 2024). She is currently working on “Jokes for the Warlord”, a text project in collaboration with visual artist Shiraz Fazli.
