Dženana Vucic

Dženana Vucic, born in 1991 in Konjic, Bosnia, is a Berlin-based writer, editor and critic. Her poetry and essays explore ideas around language, identity, un/belonging, myth- and history-making, and conceptions of selfhood (individual, group and national). Dženana is currently working on a novel about, amongst other things, the Bosnian war and its aftermath for which she has received a 2026 Berlin Senate Grant for Non-German Literature. Her debut poetry collection, “after war”, will be published this April.
