Efe Duyan

Efe Duyan, born 1981 in Istanbul, Turkey, is a poet, novelist, and architecture scholar based in Riga, Latvia. His poetry has been translated into nearly thirty languages, and his books have been published in several countries. His work is shaped by a search for distinctive linguistic forms suited to each poem, combining rhythmic complexity, layered metaphors, and a subtle reworking of everyday language into broader networks of meaning. Recent publications include “The Silence Between Two Heartbeat” (2024) and “The Behavior of Words” (2023).
