HAUS FÜR POESIE

Ignacio Martínez-Castignani, born in 1972 in Barcelona, is a diplomat, composer, and poet. He currently directs the Instituto Cervantes in Berlin. In his artistic work, he uniquely combines music and language. As he describes it himself: "Today I use words instead of notes to express myself—for me, a poem is like music." His publications include the poetry collection “Los espejos de la ceniza” (Libros de la Frontera, 2013).
