HAUS FÜR POESIE

Karen Leeder is a British poet, translator, and literary scholar. She is Professor of Modern German Literature at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of New College Oxford. Leeder primarily translates contemporary German-language poetry into English, including works by Durs Grünbein, Ulrich Schlotmann, and Jan Wagner. She has received numerous awards for her translations, including the Schlegel-Tieck Prize. Alongside her academic work, she also publishes her own poetry; her most recent publications include „Psyche Running: Selected Poems 2005–2022" (2023).
