Laura Vazquez

Laura Vazquez is a french writer and poet. Her work explores the relationships between language, the body, space, and temporality. She is the author of several collections of poetry and prose, published notably by Éditions du sous-sol, Points, and Cheyne éditeur. Her works include “Les Forces”, “La semaine perpétuelle”, “Le livre du large et du long”, and “Vous êtes de moins en moins reels”. Her work has been honored with numerous prestigious literary awards, including the Prix Goncourt, the Prix Décembre, the Prix des Inrockuptibles, the Prix des lecteurs Télérama, the Prix Blu, the Prix Wepler, and the Prix de la Vocation. Her books have been translated into numerous languages. In addition to her writing, Laura Vazquez pursues a practice of performance and artistic research. She regularly collaborates with artists from the fields of theater, music, and film, creating hybrid forms that combine text, voice, image, and sound.
