Marie Luise Knott lives in Berlin as a freelance writer, critic, and translator. Most recently published: „370 Riverside Drive, 730 Riverside Drive. Hannah Arendt und Ralph Ellison!" (Matthes & Seitz 2022), which was awarded the Tractatus Prize for philosophical essay writing. Knott is co-editor of „John Cage. Empty Mind" (Suhrkamp 2012) together with Walter Zimmermann and translator of Anne Carson, Anthropology of Water. Recently published: „Dazwischenzeiten. 1930 – künstlerische Wege in der Erschöpfung der Moderne." In the online cultural magazine Perlentaucher, she writes a column on contemporary poetry titled: „Tagtigall".
