Milena Marković

Milena Marković, born in 1974 in Belgrade, Serbia, where she lives today, is an award-winning poet, playwright, and screenwriter. She has published seven poetry collections, most recently the book-length poem “deca” (LOM 2021, “children”), for which she won the NIN Book of the Year Award. Her plays have been staged across Europe and in the United States. She has also written screenplays for film and TV, such as “Patria”, which won Best Screenplay at the FEST International Film Festival.
