Mirko Bonné

Mirko Bonné, born in 1965 in Tegernsee, lives in Hamburg and Provence. He is a poet, novelist, and essayist, and has translated into German, among others, John Keats, E. E. Cummings, Emily Dickinson, Robert Louis Stevenson, and Oscar Wilde. Most recently he published the novel “Alle ungezählten Sterne”/ All Uncounted Stars, (Schöffling & Co. 2023) and poems “Wege durch die Spiegel”/ Ways Through the Mirrors, (Schöffling & Co. 2025). He most recently received the Hubert Fichte Prize (2024) and the Hannelore Greve Literature Prize (2025). He is a member of the Free Academy of Arts in Hamburg and of the PEN Berlin, as well as co-editor of the literary journal “Konzepte”.
