Monika Rinck
Monika Rinck, born in 1969 in Zweibrücken, has been publishing poetry, prose, and essays since 1998 and also works as a translator. In 2024, her sixth volume of poetry, “Höllenfahrt & Entenstaat,” was published by kookbooks, five years after the collection “Alle Türen” (kookbooks 2019) and twelve years after “Honigprotokolle” (kookbooks 2012). She has received several awards, including the Berlin Literature Prize in 2021 and the Friedrich Hölderlin Prize in 2022. Since April 2023, she has been teaching as a professor of Creative Writing at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne.
