HAUS FÜR POESIE

Mubeen Khishany, born in 1998 in Iraq, lives in Germany and is a writer and journalist who works in poetry, theatre, and cultural journalism. He co-founded and edited Masqa Poetry Magazine and currently serves as an editor at Shirwmir Magazine. He is the author of the poetry books “Kidnapped from the Hand of Comfort” (2022) and “Against Hope” (2025), and has contributed to several literary anthologies. Khishany was a participant in the PEN Writers in Exile program. His work was rewarded with the Al-Rafidain Prize and the Qarib Press Award in 2023.
