Nico Bleutge

Nico Bleutge, born in 1972 in Munich, lives in Berlin. He has been working as a freelance author since 2001. His most recent publications are the essay collection “Drei Fliegen” (C.H. Beck 2020) and the poetry collection “schlafbaum-variationen” (C.H. Beck 2023). In 2012, the opera “Wasser”, for which he wrote the libretto, premiered at the Munich Biennale. He has received numerous awards for his work, including a scholarship from the Deutsche Akademie Rom Villa Massimo (2018/19) and the Jean Paul Prize (2023).
