Qazal Tabandeh

Qazal Tabandeh, born in 1983 in Shiraz, lives and works in Leipzig. An Iranian interdisciplinary artist working across art, design, and music, she is an active member of Leipzig's experimental music scene. Her background in architecture and design provides a broad foundation for her artistic practice. As a singer and poet, she serves as artistic director of the performance collective inter-be-ing. Her passion for Persian literature infuses her singing with poetic depth, creating a fusion of language and sound through spontaneous compositions. Her debut poetry collection, “Der dreieckige Vulkan”, will be published soon.
