HAUS FÜR POESIE

Rasha Habbal, born in 1982 in Hama, Syria, lives in Trier, Germany, and is a poet and writer. Writing between Arabic and German, her work explores the themes of body, exile, memory, and power. She understands language as a space of resistance and gives vulnerability a clear and uncompromising voice. Her most recent publication is a poetry collection “Die letzte Frau” (Verlagshaus Berlin 2021).
