Sascha Kokot

Sascha Kokot, born in 1982 in the Altmark, grew up there and now lives in Leipzig as a freelance writer and photographer. After completing an IT apprenticeship in Hamburg and spending time in Australia, he studied at the German Literature Institute Leipzig. He has received numerous grants and awards, and his work has been published in a wide range of anthologies and journals. In 2026, his third poetry collection, “Geisternetze”, was published by Gans Verlag, following “Ferner” (edition AZUR, 2017).
