Stanisław Kalina Jaglarz

Stanisław Kalina Jaglarz is a Polish trans poet. For his debut collection “gość sójki (to host jays)” (Silesian Library Publishing House, 2022), he was nominated for the Wisława Szymborska Prize and the Silesius Wrocław Poetry Prize. For his second collection, “zajęczy żar (a hare’s heat)” (Warstwy 2024), he received the Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński Orpheus Poetry Prize and the Kazimierz Hoffman KOS Poetry Prize. In 2024, the volume “Šumina rebra” was published—a selection of poems from two volumes (edited by Julia Fiedorczuk), translated into Serbian by Mila Gavrilovic (Književna radionica Rašić 2025). In the summer of 2026, Znak will publish his third poetry collection, “Trzody (Flocks).” Jaglarz lives with animals in the Beskid Wyspowy Valley.
