A festival oasis for the whole family: Create letter garlands, paint letters onto bodies, spoon up alphabet soup, puzzle poetic memory games, test reading pens, read poems, rhyme verses — and invent playful linguistic adventures together at the poetry market! A joyful space for shared discovery, creativity, and hands‑on wordplay for all ages.
Summer Haiku with Printmaking (with Karla Reimert Montasser and Natsuyo Koizumi)
Participants fold summer animals from beautiful origami paper, practice Japanese calligraphy, and write colourful seasonal haiku. They are introduced to the techniques of drypoint etching and print their favourite motifs. Everyone is welcome — no prior experience required. Curiosity is all you need.
The family program is open to all languages and takes place from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.
