HAUS FÜR POESIE

Ten poetry experts — this year: Nico Bleutge, Rüdiger Görner, Marie Luise Knott, Christian Metz, Ronya Othmann, Kerstin Preiwuß, Ilma Rakusa, Anja Utler, Norbert Wehr, and Sam Zamrik — select ten German-language and ten translated poetry collections for the list, which can serve as a summary of the past year in poetry, as guidance, or as an entry point into reading poetry.

A few days after the announcement of the Poetry Recommendations list, three of the nominees will present their volumes at the Haus für Poesie. Their names will be published here on March 20.

A joint project of the Deutsche Akademie für Sprache und Dichtung, the Stiftung Lyrik Kabinett, the Haus für Poesie, the Deutscher Bibliotheksverband, and the Deutscher Literaturfonds.
