In many fairy tales, heroes and heroines encounter magical objects, creatures, or animals along their journey: wishing rings, cloaks of invisibility, seven‑league boots, magic mirrors, golden donkeys, dragons, wizards, or fairies.

Numbers also return again and again in fairy tales — seven ravens or dwarfs, three wishes, twelve brothers. Magical formulas and rhymes such as “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?” are just as much a part of the fairy‑tale world. Together with storyteller Sabine Kolbe, we travel through fairy tales from around the world.

The event is held in German and takes place from 2:00 to 2:30 p.m. and again from 3:00 to 3:30 p.m.
