As a meeting point for Berlin’s international contemporary poetry and music scene, Vocations offers a stage for artists exploring a wide range of musical and vocal practices that are based on or deeply rooted in poetry. Vocations invites poets, musicians, and audiences alike to engage in creative exchange—whether on stage, over a drink between performances, or as a way to round off the evening.

With Rachel Fenlon, Babs Gons, Hypochondrische Ängste (Jan Frisch, Philipp Martin, Jorinde Minna Markert), Björn Kuhligk & F.S.BLUMM, Claudia Rankine, Helēna Sorokina, Aga Ujma, Alejandra Borea & XIVIS (Salvador Burrell, Sophie Dreisörner), Ramina Abdulla-zadé

authors & composers: Miron Białoszewski, Huihui Cheng, Tomás Cohen, Sinan Samanli, Iris ter Schiphorst, Karin Spielhofer, Sergey Yesenin

Readings and performances in the original language; English translations will be provided to the audience.
