In this year’s Zebrino program, film-enthusiastic school classes from Berlin form the audience jury for the Zebrino Award for Best Youth Poetry Film 2026. We present an excitingly curated selection of international poetry clips from Hungary, South Africa, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the USA and the UK, exploring themes of intoxication, revolution and loneliness.

Up to four classes of students aged 14–20 will watch the eight competition films at silent green’s Kuppelhalle, discuss them with media educator Leska Ruppert, and select the winning film. The chosen film will then be presented at the award ceremony by the youth jury (Jona Valentin Rose, Zoé Helmke, Tonda Montasser) and will receive a special mention.
